Job Summary
Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

Automation role will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing automated systems in various mechanical and digital environments to help and improve processes, save costs, and achieve better outcome of design, product, and processes, eliminating defects, errors, and problems with product, process, or software development.
What a typical day looks like:
Engaging with customers and addressing internal project requirements.
Identifying opportunities to increase efficiency with automation
Researching and designing automation technology
Creating a connection between information inputs, controllers and outputs
Developing tests and simulations to ensure the systems work as intended
Establishing monitoring and QA processes
Investigating defects or errors in the technology
Managing safety systems, motor controls, drives, communication systems, and human-machine interface (HMI).
