Role Purpose
This role is responsible for managing or working within a Service Management function in (DBS/Technology), a GB/GF or region. This involves executing against the the relevant strategy and methodology and enabling adoption of relevant tools and processes.
JOB Activities
This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:
• Providing subject matter expertise of the relevant Service Management discipline and associated processes, workflows, interactions and purpose• Responsible for operational delivery against relevant Service Management strategy, goals and targets• Collaborate within / across GB/GFs and regions to deliver collective goals in line with the Service Management strategies and priorities• Promote the implementation and adoption of relevant Service Management best practice within Technology• Operate governance procedures relating to the execution and monitoring of controls• Identify, plan, execute and measure process improvements• Develop,



implement and continually improve operating procedures• Prepare Managament Information for use at performance and governance forums• Support peers across Service Management to deliver functional goals in line with Technology strategy and priorities• Lead and manage Service Management resource where required, providing technical and functional support and guidance on operational processes, helping to develop core Service Management competencies and skills across the wider team
