Insight Integral is looking for an
*L3 Application Support Engineer*
to provide production support across multiple business-critical applications within the Asset Management Division of a leading financial services company.

On a day-to-day basis, this individual will investigate and resolve application, data, and reporting issues, perform root cause analysis across upstream and downstream systems, and ensure the integrity of data flowing through internal reporting platforms.

This position will be a
*6 month contract*
, with the high chance to extend onwards. This would be a B2B contract.

Targeting the following skillsets:
- Application/production support experience with Java development experience, including hands-on coding, debugging and code maintenance.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Linux, Java, and AWS
- Ability to read, analyse, and troubleshoot Java applications, including debugging code, logs, and stack traces.
- Strong SQL skills,



including writing and debugging complex queries.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience working in AWS environments.
- Experience using ServiceNow or a similar ITSM/ticketing platform for incident, problem, and change management.
- Proven experience investigating and resolving application, database, and infrastructure issues.
- Strong understanding of incident management, root cause analysis, problem management, and issue resolution.
- Experience supporting applications in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on operational excellence and service reliability.
- Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
