The Control Engineer I supports the maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of manufacturing automation and control systems to ensure safe, stable, and capable production processes. This role is responsible for executing automation solutions under established engineering standards, supporting operational needs, documenting technical changes,



and escalating risks when necessary. The position provides a strong foundation for developing expertise in industrial automation within a manufacturing environment.
About Your Role
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, variable frequency drives, servo systems, industrial networks, and machine vision systems.
Implement low- to medium-complexity modifications to control logic, machine interfaces, and process parameters while following validation and change management procedures.
Support initiatives focused on reducing scrap, improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), implementing poka-yokes, enhancing traceability, and controlling critical process parameters.
Create and maintain backups, parameter lists, electrical diagrams, work instructions, operation manuals, and maintenance records.
