Support the design, construction and implementation of automated equipment and tools for new and existing production processes.



Select and participate with automation suppliers to help and lead the development of equipment/systems.

This position will also help, provide technical assistance and advice to other members of the automation group.

This position involves frequent interaction with advanced manufacturing engineers, local manufacturing engineers, maintenance, and product engineers.

Design automated equipment to improve multiple manufacturing processes, utilizing knowledge of DFM and DFA to collaborate in the creation of new process technology, improved product designs, and materials while supporting production goals, safety, quality, cost, and delivery. A focus on continuous improvement and automation is required. This position will report directly to a Manufacturing Manager and provide support to all Comfort Controls facilities, contract manufacturers, and suppliers in process improvements.
