Overview:
Lutron is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Trade Compliance Analystto join our Trade Compliance team in Chihuahua, Mexico. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting Lutron’s general operations by ensuring import and export activities are conducted in compliance with applicable government regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- As a Trade Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and managing customs documentation, supporting cross-border trade operations, and ensuring the timely and compliant movement of goods. You will collaborate closely with a variety of internal and external partners, including freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and U.S. and Mexico customs authorities, as well as Lutron’s logistics, engineering, and customer service teams. This role is critical to maintaining efficient international trade processes while ensuring adherence to all import/export requirements and Lutron’s standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with U.S.



and Mexico import/export regulations and support cross-border trade operations.
- Manage and coordinate import and export activities, ensuring adherence to applicable government regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare and manage Free Trade Agreement (FTA) certificates, affidavits, and other trade-related documentation.
- Support and administer trade programs such as IMMEX, PROSEC, and Rule 8th, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
- Prepare and review customs and logistics documentation required for imports, exports, and international shipments.
- Partner closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and consolidation centers to facilitate compliant and efficient movement of goods.
