Daycare Coordinator (Preschool Extended Daycare)

Position Summary

The Daycare Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation and organization of the preschool extended care program, ensuring a safe, structured, and well-supervised environment for students. This role includes supervision of nannies, coordination of student groups, communication with parents, and collaboration with school departments to ensure the smooth functioning of daycare services.





Daily Operation & Supervision
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the daycare/extended care program.
- Supervise and provide follow‑up to nannies to ensure proper routines, safety procedures, and supervision.
- Organize student groups according to enrollment, age, and staffing needs.
- Monitor daily schedules and ensure smooth transitions during arrival, activities, and dismissal.
- Review and coordinate the daycare menu with the food service/nutrition department.
- Supervise the planning and execution of daily activities, ensuring they are carried out by the nannies according to the established routines and guidelines.
- Ensure activities are developmentally appropriate, engaging, and aligned with the needs of preschool students.

Parent Communication & Student Follow‑Up
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding daycare services, student needs, and daily situations.
