As part of our International Trade Compliance Leadership team, you will be focused on facilitating compliance with customs and export control laws and regulations while supporting business initiatives and savings optimization programs through centralized, best in class standard process controls within the Wabtec LATAM region.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Legal Compliance team, in the Customs Compliance Region Leader-LATAM position, your main responsibilities will include being responsible for managing and maintaining Wabtec Corporation’s customs compliance strategy and enterprise standard for Wabtec entities acting as importer or exporter of record.



This position works cross functionally as a customs compliance subject matter expert to implement and enforce Wabtec’s custom compliance enterprise standard and policies, ensuring the highest compliance with customs laws and regulations while facilitating business operations.

This position reports directly to the Director, General Exports and Customs Compliance.

What do we want to know about you?
- Bachelors (higher education) Degree and 9+ years industry customs compliance experience with people leader experience
- Licensed Customs Broker or appropriate in-country equivalent certification
- Deep knowledge of local customs, trade and other regulatory agency requirements that relate to import and export activities with a focus on LATAM
- Self-Directed. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to influence others and work cross functionally to drive results in a highly matrixed organization.
