The Certified Arborist will be responsible for maintaining improved grounds, ensuring a neat, well‑kept, and healthy appearance throughout the assigned areas while adhering to DoD regulations and landscaping service standards.

Job Responsibilities
- Maintain improved grounds, including prestige areas, POL areas, tanks, fence lines, pipelines, and berms, ensuring all areas meet Service Level Standards specified in J-1503050-06.
- Conduct trimming and pruning of vegetation such as trees, shrubs, and plants in a manner that promotes their health, longevity, and aesthetic appearance.
- Trim and maintain vegetation within and adjacent to objects located within lawn or field areas, including but not limited to fence lines, fence fabric, brick walls, signs, street lights, fire hydrants, sidewalks, parking lots and structures,



building perimeters, power poles, guy wires, and valve boxes/hand holes.
- Perform assessments to diagnose tree and plant health concerns, including the identification of pests, diseases, and environmental factors affecting vegetation.
- Recommend and execute appropriate treatments for disease prevention, pests, or nutrient deficiencies in plants and trees, including proper fertilization, pruning, and irrigation practices.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, pruners, shears, stump grinders, and other landscaping tools and machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including the safe use of equipment and disposal of green waste and debris.
- Collaborate with grounds maintenance personnel to coordinate landscaping and maintenance schedules effectively.
