Overview

We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and hands‑on commercial driven Institutional Investment Manager. Based in Mexico City (Torre Mayor), this hybrid role requires a minimum of three days per week in the office.

What can you expect?

This role’s primary focus is to bring new clients and significantly grow Mercer’s investment consulting business in Mexico and beyond.
- Serve as the primary investment consultant on medium and large clients and/or second on jumbo clients, including managing overall service delivery and solution design. Act as the day‑to‑day lead for the client, ensuring project requirements, solutions, and deliverables meet client expectations to provide the best tailored financial advice.
- Work as part of a team on a range of complex projects.
- Generate sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and, importantly, by proactively bringing in new clients to grow Mercer’s investment business.
- Sell and manage customized investment consulting services to both new and existing clients, and develop or contribute to intellectual capital.




- Depending on the size and complexity of a client assignment, take a leading role or support other consultants. In all circumstances, be exposed to innovative and market‑leading ideas while contributing to interesting work.
- Enhance the client’s stated investment mission, planned implementation strategy, and execution strategy.
- Maximize the intellectual capital that gets into clients’ portfolios and ensure scope and fees are aligned.
- Coordinate with existing sales and Client Management teams to identify, develop, and close strategic sales opportunities, with a strong focus on business development to expand Mercer’s investment consulting footprint.

- Provide investment advice to a wide range of institutional clients on determining investment objectives, establishing investment policy, selecting investment managers, consistently monitoring investment markets and client port
