Description:
This position is a hands-on engineering role, working closely with application developers, product management, QA, and other engineers in an Agile scrum team setting. The idóneo candidate has a solid SOA background, excellent people skills, and a desire to make a difference.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science
- Proficiency with data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- 4-9 years building large volume services.
- Strong command of Java (C++ experience okay).
- Experience building Java endpoints in a service oriented restful style architecture.
- Building and maintaining concurrent and distributed services.
- Experience with Git, and Git Flow.




- Understanding of data modeling and distributed database technologies including experience with MySQL.
- Experience working in an Agile/Iterative-style development group.
- Test-Driven development utilizing unit testing frameworks and automated testing.
- Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Detective-like debugging skills.
- Direct experience with HBase or Zookeeper.
