Senior Test Engineer
A Day in Your Life at MKS: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement cost‑effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
- Prepare diagnostic programs, design test fixtures, and complete specifications and procedures for new products.
- Plan labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
- Sustain and support production lines by troubleshooting issues, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring the smooth operation of test systems.
- Lead and support Industry4.0 and process automation initiatives to modernize testing and manufacturing workflows.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW programming.




- Strong electronic background (troubleshooting, testing).
- Project management skills (planning, scheduling, resource allocation).
- Experience designing and implementing test fixtures, diagnostic programs, and procedures for new products.
- Experience sustaining production lines and supporting manufacturing operations.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at, and above shoulder level.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Operates in a professional office and laboratory/manufacturing environment.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
