SOURCING PROJECT MANAGER

About position

Drives Net Material Performance, Engineering Change Management (ECN) and Technical Cost Optimization Leadership of the Original Equipment and Aftermarket - Americas businesses by either improving or launching product portfolio and cost competitiveness through a combination of sourcing, operational, product development, and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) support programs. This role is responsible for the planning, coordinating, evaluation and execution of activities involved with the entire operation of specific products, including development, testing, product quality, production, Capex, project cost, scheduling and performance, and launch.

Specific duties:




Manages new product launches, component projects, technical cost optimization, cost reduction, operational improvements, and selected VAVE initiatives to achieve profitability, budget, risk, and timing objectives.
Leads and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring project alignment, status visibility, and on-time execution.
Leads Technical Reviews, Pre-Award Meetings, APQP supplier activities, PPAP submissions, and safe launch plans to ensure successful and quality-compliant program launches.
Ensures effective coordination, prioritization, and communication of project objectives.
Reports program progress through sourcing implementation gates/phases, ensuring budget, cost optimization, cost reduction, and timing targets are achieved.
Drives excellence through standardized project management practices and compliance with SAF-Holland processes.
