Join us as an Automation & Control Engineer and help ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of our manufacturing operations. You will support our Distributed Control System (DCS), maintaining an organized control environment that enables safe and uninterrupted production.
As a trusted technical expert, you will oversee the administration, maintenance, optimization, and protection of the control system architecture. Your work will help ensure the availability, and integrity of critical automation infrastructure while supporting across manufacturing processes.
You will also contribute to continuous improvement programs by identifying opportunities to enhance system performance, mitigate operational risks, and strengthen process efficiency. Through your expertise, you will help safeguard business continuity and support the successful execution of main production goals. You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager. This is an onsite role based in San Juan del Río, Querétaro, Mexico.

Main Responsibilities
- DCS System Administration: Configures, maintains, and documents the DCS architecture; manage the database, historical data, alarms, and system events; administer users, permissions, and action traceability.
- Availability and continuity: Ensures high availability of the DELTA V system (redundancies, backups, and failover), monitors system performance and detects deviations, and leads root cause analysis for failures or downtime.
- System security: Ensures compliance with cybersecurity policies in the control system; validate the integrity of programs, configurations, and
