Eaton’s division is currently seeking a Sr Test Engineer.
Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. Position Overview:
In this role, the Sr Test Engineer is responsible for the execution of product testing, data acquisition and the reporting of component performance for Low Voltage Vehicle Controls products designed in Reynosa, MX. You will work with the internal product teams to understand testing requirements for various products. You will lead the test system build and validation of the completed test system.
You will document the results and train lab technicians to run sample testing during prototype, design, and production validation testing.
What you’ll do:
In this function you will:
• Work with a integral cross-functional team to develop, launch new designs and provide sustaining support for switches, keypads, rotary encoder, and other commercial vehicle electrical products.
• Participate in the launch of new products following the Eaton PROLaunch stage-gate process.
• Conduct testing of product changes and new products in accordance with standards and customer requirements to confirm conformance.
• Support RFQ activities with estimates of hours and equipment needs for required testing.
• Interface with customers and other internal groups such as Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Test / Validation Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering as needed to answer questions, create technical presentations, product requirement
