About the role
The Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for managing the site's quality systems related to customer complaints, product traceability, and document control. This position ensures compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen product quality, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end customer and consumer complaint management process, including investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions,



and closure.
Coordinate cross-functional investigations with Production, Quality, Logistics, Planning, Customer Service, and Commercial teams.
Analyze complaint trends and quality metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recurrence reduction.
Support customer, internal, regulatory, and certification audits related to quality systems.
Manage and maintain the site's traceability program for raw materials, packaging materials, in-process materials, and finished goods.
Lead traceability exercises and mock recalls to verify compliance and system effectiveness.
Support product withdrawal and recovery activities when required.
Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, food safety, and GFSI traceability requirements.
Administer and maintain the document control system, including document lifecycle management and record retention practices.
