To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Process Engineer role involves responsibilities for process‑engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support a PCBA manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Understand the manufacturing SMT & Wave solder processes.
- Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
- Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
- Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies.
- Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.
Experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge in NPI & Mass Production.
- Strong experience in SMT process.
- Knowledge in fixture designs.
- Advanced English.
- Process development.
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification is also a plus.
- Team management.
