In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping our North America financial operations, directly influencing process improvements and leading a talented team of accountants to transform how we manage general general ledger activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the general ledger close activities within the ERP accounting system
Manages team of accountants including review of processes, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Coordinate with financial leadership for account fluctuation analysis and other required reporting
Manage SOX compliance and key controls for areas within general accounting




Serve as a liaison with Internal and External Auditors for annual audit and quarterly audit schedules preparation.
Prepares monthly financial and management reporting packages
Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures

Skills & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
10 years of accounting experience
Prior proven effective management experience overseeing an accounting team
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Excellent knowledge of GAAP
Highly organized and able to perform under strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
An excellent facilitator who is experienced in resolving conflicts between different parties to a dispute
A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation and detail oriented perspective
An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individ
