Position Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily manufacturing operations within the wire harness production area. This role ensures that production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and customer delivery commitments are consistently achieved. The Production Supervisor provides leadership to production associates, promotes continuous improvement, and supports operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production Management
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in wire harness assembly operations.
Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
Monitor production performance metrics, including productivity, scrap, downtime, and labor utilization.
Allocate manpower and resources to achieve operational goals.
Ensure adherence to standard work instructions and manufacturing procedures.
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop production associates and team leaders.




Conduct daily shift meetings to communicate production goals, safety topics, and operational updates.
Manage employee performance, attendance, discipline, and development activities.
Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Quality Management
Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality requirements.
Support corrective and preventive actions related to quality issues.
Work closely with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve production concerns.
Promote a culture of zero defects and continuous quality improvement.
Safety & Compliance
Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety policies.
Conduct safety observations, audits, and incident investigations.
Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
