Monitor the quality system with a preventive approach to validation and strict compliance with design requirements, manufacturing processes and products, as well as engineering activities, program launches, and product transfers, in order to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.Responsibilities
Release tooling and equipment for the entire production line, from pre-assembly operations to post-operation equipment.
Applicable from prototype phases through engineering changes.
Review and follow up on the PPAP package, conduct customer reviews based on specific requirements, and plan documentation for each phase or engineering change.
Request and follow up on PSW and IMDS approvals for components until all are 100% approved.
Read and interpret drawings and/or specifications.
Perform analyses, CTQs, gauge plans, etc., and complete launch documentation packages.
Establish inspection methods and monitor quality performance with the customer throughout the different phases.
Maintain and update Lear and customer systems, including Profile, GQTS, CQMS, and SQMS.
Define the harness special characteristics based on customer requirements, DFMEA, historical phase data, and update and develop control plans.
Define the inspection system for each production line, including self-inspections, progressive inspections, successive inspections, and visual aids.
