Payment Business Development Manager – LATAM Location: Remote – LATAM Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: Competitive base salary + performance-based commission About the Role We are looking for an experienced Payment Business Development Manager to drive merchant acquisition and business growth across Latin America. This is a hands-on, hunter-style sales role for a payment industry professional who understands merchant acquiring and can turn relationships into signed contracts and real processing volume. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, negotiating with, and onboarding high-volume merchants across LATAM, while building a strong and sustainable merchant pipeline. Candidates with an established network of merchants, platforms, payment partners, or businesses operating across LATAM will be highly valued. What You'll Do • Identify, prospect, and acquire high-volume merchants across LATAM. • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through commercial negotiation, contract signing, and merchant activation.



• Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound sales, referrals, industry networks, partnerships, and relevant industry events. • Develop relationships with merchants and decision-makers across digital commerce, online platforms, cross-border e-commerce, digital entertainment, and other high-growth sectors. • Understand merchant payment challenges, including authorization rates, payment conversion, local payment methods, settlement, reserves, chargebacks, and processing stability. • Present tailored payment solutions covering cards, bank transfers, digital wallets, and alternative payment methods. • Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Integration, and Operations teams to facilitate merchant onboarding and activation. • Support merchants during integration and help grow their transaction volume after launch. • Monitor merchant performance, processing volume, revenue contribution, and overall commercial results. • Mainta
