Job Description: [SR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER] Airbus is a leader in designing, manufacturing and delivering aerospace products, services and solutions to customers on a worldwide scale, pioneering sustainable aerospace for a safe and united world. As an SR Manufacturing engineer you will define the industrialization of products based on specifications and designs, to transform them into robust manufacturing systems; providing the production area with necessary resources to carry out its processes; safeguarding the quality, delivery time and cost of the products. Manage and contribute through collaborative work, to implementation of continuous improvement ideas, using Lean Manufacturing tools that allow exceeding compliance with the indicators established by the company.
Optimize further development for production processes in continuous improvement activities.
Evaluate industrial impact- Collaborative-Design to Manufacturing (Co-Design/Co-Indus).
Contribute to all phases of the design to ensure industrial needs are taken into account.




Push industrial requirements to Engineering & Supply Chain. (Introduce Manufacturing best practice/ standardization into design to improve cost efficiency and competitiveness.
Specify industrial asset (Jigs, Tools, Tooling, Machines,...) requirements for creation or modification.
Drive implementation of 1st installation with required shop floor feedback loops for manufacturing readiness (right first time).
Plan regular feedback loops with the Production Team/TSFS and go to Gemba.
Ensure manufacturing process operations that execution of these is robust, reliable and safe.
Manage key / recurrent work preparation issues transferred by the Production Team / Technical shop floor support.
Communicate directly and by physical participation in Production Team routines and participate in project works in cross-skilled teams (national / international).
