World Renowned Cellular Performance Institute is looking for a genomics analyst.

The Cellular Performance Institute, located in Playas de Tijuana, is looking for a genomics analyst to perform experimental activities related to sample preparation for next-generation sequencing and biology molecular techniques. Ensuring quality, traceability, and compliance with established protocols in order to guarantee accurate and reproducible results

We are considered by many to be the world's premiere facility for stem cell treatments and manufacturing. Our weekly stream of clientele include professional athletes from the UFC, NFL, MLB and more.

Responsibilities:
- Perform the preparation, handling, and processing of biological samples under standardized conditions.
- Execute molecular biology techniques, including extraction, purification, PCR, qPCR, fragmentation, ligation, among others.
- Prepare libraries for next-generation sequencing (NGS).
- Operate sequencing instruments while ensuring strict adherence to established protocols.
- Perform quality control at all required stages,



including DNA/RNA concentration, purity, and integrity assessments.
- Document procedures in both physical and electronic records to ensure full traceability.
- Comply with internal and external regulations related to biosafety and biohazardous waste (RPBI) management.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Support the validation of new methods and equipment.
- Participate in training sessions and internal/external audits.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical-Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields. A master’s degree is preferred but not required.
- Pipetting techniques and proper sample handling practices
- Handling and processing of biological samples
- Operation and proper use of sequencing platforms
- Biosafety and biohazardous waste (RPBI) management
- Fluent in English is preferred.
