Overview:
SSOE is seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Designer - Data, Fire & Security Systems to join our Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit. This role is an exciting opportunity for an early-career designer to contribute to the design of complex, technology-driven facilities while developing expertise in low-voltage systems, including structured cabling/data, fire alarm, and security systems.
Working alongside senior designers and engineers, you will use ACAD/Revit to convert engineering concepts, markups, and project requirements into accurate, coordinated design deliverables. You will receive hands-on guidance and mentorship while building a strong foundation in system design, applicable codes, multidisciplinary coordination, and quality-focused project execution.

Responsibilities:
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.- Works on markups provided by higher-level designers and engineers, using Revit to develop and revise data, fire alarm, and security system design documents.- Applies design fundamentals to total systems or subsystems, including structured cabling, telecommunications/data pathways, fire alarm devices, access control, CCTV, and related low-voltage infrastructure, as applicable to the project.- Performs a variety of routine design assignments, with increasing responsibility, under the direction of
