Position Summary
Fitness Trainers are the heart of the Live 2 B Healthy program, delivering safe, effective, and engaging group fitness classes for older adults in senior living communities. We are seeking compassionate professionals to deliver specialized movement and wellness programs for older adults living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
Our Memory Care Movement Specialists create engaging, failure-free exercise experiences that improve mobility, reduce fall risk, encourage social interaction, and enhance quality of life for residents in Memory Care communities.
This is not a traditional fitness instructor role. Success in this position comes from patience, empathy, creativity, and the ability to connect with residents at every stage of cognitive ability.

Responsibilities
- Private & Small Group Training: Deliver personalized one-on-one and small group sessions with residents based on their individual abilities, following approved programming and documentation protocols.
- Lead small-group movement sessions: Conduct scheduled on-site fitness classes designed specifically for Memory Care residents with varying cognitive and physical abilities, focusing on functional movement, balance, and strength.
- Ensure Safety & Inclusivity with Adaptive Programming: Use music, rhythm, familiar movements, and positive reinforcement to maximize participation. Monitor participants closely to ensure exercises are performed safely and effectively. Modify activities as needed to support all fitness levels.
