Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Purchasing Direct Supervisor located in Guadalajara, South Campus.
Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Purchasing Direct Supervisor´s role involvesbeingin charge ofoverseeing activities related to the procurement of direct materials, parts, components and equipment, and directs/coordinates activities of personnel engaged in procurement.
Generaldutieswill include identifying and procuring the goods and services that an organization requires, manage all procurement-related activities.



Maintain purchasinggoals/metrics,develop purchasing policy and procedures and guideand mentor the teamwith regard toall purchasing activities to ensure value is achieved providing maximum value to the business.
What a typical day looks like:
- Assist management to establish roles andduties of purchasing goals
- Drive for Inventory Turn Over improvement per site targets
- Manage and optimize inventory at target levels
- Drive for 100%supplier on time delivery
- Initiate inventory control/cost containment togive inPurchase Price Variance
- Supervise the team in the management of the supply chain to achieve continuous timely supply of parts and services
- Work closely with the team to ensure purchasing compliance to corporate directives
- Review controls to reduce exposures onEnd of LifeProjects to minimize exposure on obsolete stock
- Helpcorporate excess materials internal programs (as appropriate)
- Deal with day-to-day operationa
