Main Objective

Attend and solve any quality issue coming from supplier after SOP.

Responsibilities And Authority

Product Quality Validation at Supplier plant
Corrective action validation ensuring effectiveness.
Audit process of CS1 and CS2 to ensure that product is 100% certified according to standards, Work instructions and/or Methods authorized.
Audit supplier processes (VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5)
Optimize supplier performance (Score card)
Attend Quality meetings between Organization and Supplier
Support to SQE with analysis and improvement of Supplier process
Authority to propose the necessary training to improve the environmental management program.
Carries out actions to reduce environmental impact, as well as activities for compliance with the ISO14001 standard.
Authority to stop a process in which there is the possibility of harming the environment or/and that is outside environmental legal compliance.

Requirement





Engineering degree
10 years of experience desired
Automotive experience of 5 years minimum
Experience working with suppliers and/or customers
Experience as Resident Quality Engineer in Tier 1 companies – Desirable
Process or SGQ experience – Desirable

Specific Qualification, Knowledge And Skills

Knowledge of value stream process
Problem solving tools
PFMEA and control plan
Application of Six sigma, DOE
Shining tools – Desirable
English written and spoken
Strong Negotiation skills
High negotiation certification - Desired
Knowledge of VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5
