Job Summary
Reporting to the Site Quality Manager, this position gives direction to Quality Engineering and Supplier Quality functions, as needed. This position provides leadership, mentoring, evaluation and development of Quality Engineers and Supplier Quality Engineer. Also, Quality Supervisor will be working very close with the Inspection team (Final and Receiving). Responsible for driving supplier improvement in the areas of Quality, Delivery and Lean Manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities

- Facilitate problem solving, ensure coordination and communication of corrective and preventive actions, and assist the quality manager in system development and maintenance.
- Responsible for driving supplier improvement in the areas of Quality, Delivery and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Identify needs, and develop the Quality Engineering and Supplier Quality Engineering functions as required.
- Overall responsible for the Supplier PPAP approval.
- Provide direction to ensure compliance with all applicable customer requirements and government regulations involving product quality.
- Drive customer, supplier and internal corrective action and preventive action for timely and effective completion.
- Support improvement performance of key suppliers by implementing process controls and develop quality assurance plans.
