What you'll do
- Address and resolve discrepancies in carrier invoices by adhering to company policies, customer guidelines, and established rate agreements.
- Create shipments for non-managed freight while adhering to specific requirements set by customers.
- Provide assistance to Operations teams by responding to financial inquiries related to their accounts.
- Analyze billing issues to identify their root causes and escalates them through the JIRA system for resolution.




- Regularly update and maintain customer business rules, policies, and internal procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Set up new customer and vendor locations within the Transportation Management System (TMS) to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with teams in Procurement, Carrier Pricing, and Operations to rectify any rating or accessorial errors that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support financial transactions and audits.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and share insights on improving processes.
- Assist in the training of new team members on financial procedures and company policies.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in finance and accounting.
