The Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center seeks an Animal Welfare Specialist to ensure high quality care and welfare for shelter animals.
You will perform medical and behavioral evaluations, vaccinations, micro-chipping, grooming, and daily care while providing expert customer service and adoption support to the public. You will coordinate transfers, assist with emergencies and law enforcement cases, and ensure compliance with center policies and humane practices.
