Job Responsibilities
- Primary care and immediate response in first aid, initial assessment of incidents or ailments, patient stabilization, transfer decision (hospital/IMSS) - does not replace hospital care — only stabilizes the patient.
- Occupational health surveillance, medical examinations: Pre-employment (if applicable), Periodic (according to risk), return to work.
- Monitoring of general illnesses that impact work, occupational diseases.
- Risk prevention (STPS code), identification of health risks.
- Evaluation of workplace conditions: ergonomics, lighting, work-related stress, control recommendations.
- Incident and accident management: accident registration, cause investigation, trend analysis.
- Health and wellness programs such as health campaigns, vaccinations, basic checkups, prevention (diabetes, hypertension).
- Member of the Safety and Hygiene Committee: evaluating workstations, ergonomics, and recommendations.
- Training: first aid (brigades), use of first aid kits, emergency response.




- Regulatory compliance and support with applicable regulations.
- Support during STPS audits.
- Occupational health documentation.

Qualification Requirements
- Degree in Medicine with relevant experience in occupational health.
- Solid knowledge of general medicine and occupational health practices, with the ability to apply current regulations and standard.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.

Provides primary support in addressing, preventing, and treating work-related illnesses, offering medical care, first aid in emergencies, and evaluating and improving working conditions for employee health and safety in collaboration with the team.
