SRS Distribution, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Home Depot, is seeking a Software Data Engineer to support the General Technology Center. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that enable business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting across the organization.
The Software Data Engineer will partner closely with data architects, software engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to build and optimize data pipelines, transform and model data, and ensure the reliability and performance of enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Snowflake, SQL development, and modern data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Development
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
Build and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations within Snowflake.
Support the ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and validation of structured and semi-structured data.




Develop reusable data models and datasets that support reporting and analytics initiatives.

Snowflake Platform Management
Create and maintain Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, and data objects.
Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning, partitioning strategies, and warehouse management.
Support data sharing, security, governance, and access controls within the Snowflake environment.
Monitor platform performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Data Integration & Pipeline Support
Develop and maintain integrations between enterprise systems and cloud data platforms.
Support batch and real-time data processing solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, pipeline, and performance issues.
Ensure reliable data movement across multiple source systems.

Agile Delivery & Collaboration
Partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Software Engineers to understand data requirements.
