An established global industrial manufacturer is seeking an Advanced Materials Research Scientist to join its growing R&D; team in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. This role is idóneo for someone who enjoys developing innovative materials and translating research into products used in real-world industrial applications.

What You'll Do
- Conduct research and develop advanced materials, including polymers, composites, ceramics, metals, or related material systems
- .Design and execute experiments to evaluate thermal, electrical, mechanical, and microstructural properties
- .Analyze test results and identify opportunities to improve material performance, reliability, and manufacturability
- .Support the development of new material formulations and help transition research from the laboratory into manufacturing
- .Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, product development, and supply chain teams to bring new technologies to market
- .Document technical findings and contribute to innovation initiatives, including intellectual property where applicable

Qualifications
- PhD in Chemistry,



Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field.
- 4+ years of experience in advanced materials research and development.
- Industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with material characterization techniques such as DSC, TGA, FTIR, SEM, or similar.
- Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DoE) and data-driven experimentation.
- Experience supporting material scale-up, process development, or commercialization is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.

Compensation:

Competitive compensation package, with a target rangeof up to MXN $60,000 gross per month based on experience.
