Your Role And Responsibilities

As an Accountant in Accounting Operations, you will be responsible for specific operational areas of Accounting, performing operational accounting activities,



and preparing worksheets/reports in accordance with IBM Accounting Principles and Common Desk Procedures. You will work closely with internal parties to collect and analyze financial data, maintain general ledger accounts, and reconcile ledger and system account balances.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

Collect and Analyze Financial Data: Collect necessary information from various internal parties and analyze financial data to perform operational accounting activities, preparing worksheets/reports for assigned areas in accordance with IBM Accounting Principles and Common Desk Procedures.
Maintain General Ledger Accounts: Maintain general ledger accounts or segments of accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
Reconcile Ledger Balances: Reconcile ledger and other system account balances, performing necessary ledger adjustments on variance or aged items.
