The mission

The process of analyzing large shares of the transportation network in terms of cost and performance, identifying improvement potential,



making large scale change decisions and implementing a new transportation network structure. This may for example include implementation of new hubs or decisions to make major changes to carrier structure. The scope would be extended to other PO divisions.

Responsibilities

As a Freight Network Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Calculate & Design Optimized Transport Routes primarily focusing on our Bill of Materials (BOM) suppliers. Strive to reduce costs and CO2 footprint and enhance efficiency in our logistics operations.
- Support freight cost savings initiatives (by plant, by region) with cross‑plant synergies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support freight cost savings initiatives, both at the plant and regional levels. Identify and leverage cross‑plant synergies within the division, while also considering cross‑divisional opportunities.
