Assistant Controller – San Juan del Rio

The Assistant Controller will carry out accounting, analysis, reporting and control activities for the finance department and the site. The Assistant Controller is responsible for the oversight of the accounting staff, ensuring that accounting practices and procedures are maintained.

Responsibilities

Overview & Scope of Role:
- Prepare and issue timely monthly and annual financial reports for internal and corporate use. Support preparation of monthly forecast with presente information.
- Oversee 4 staff and support the Controller with finance activities (cost, accounting, AP, VAT recovery, taxes).
- Prepare or review reconciliations of balance sheet accounts including Cash, Construction in Process, AP, Inventory, Fixed Assets, VAT recovery, taxes and intercompany.
- Analyze reconciliations, balances, variances and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor and ensure the business maintains robust internal controls and documentation which will ensure compliance with financial regulations and group policies.
