Position Summary
The Commodity Manager role is primarily focused on strategic activities within procurement. Activities include, but are not limited to development of commodity strategies, contract negotiations, program sourcing decisions and driving value and cost reductions.



The Commodity Manger is responsible to select qualified suppliers and related services in accordance with company and corporate policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Commodity Team in the region and supports the Global Commodity Team
- Responsible for developing Commodity Strategies that support overall business objectives and drives value and cost savings.
- Utilize sound negotiation and value analysis skills to reduce overall costs and meet or exceed annual cost objectives as set forth by the business leaders.
- Responsible for final negotiation and approval for all sourcing in region and presentation to the General Sourcing Committee.
- Source in accordance with company and corporate policies and procedures.
- Maintain and promote sound relationships with suppliers and the business community through strict adherence with the principles found in the Global Code of Conduct.
