Summary

The Shop Floor Planner is responsible for coordinating production floor operations to ensure smooth material flow, schedule completion,



and effective communication between Assembly Lines and Line Supply. This role requires strong organizational skills, problem‑solving ability, and a commitment to maintaining operational excellence on the production floor.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate between Assembly Lines and Line Supply to ensure all materials are present and available to complete the production schedule
- Track production backlog and make data‑driven recommendations to Scheduling to disposition orders accordingly
- Maintain each assembly line's supply bays to ensure only needed and approved product is present, eliminating overflow material
- Communicate any capacity constraints on production lines to ensure schedule completion and provide proactive mitigation plans
- Track and communicate all repairs on the production lines to maintain visibility and minimize downtime
- Monitor material availability and elevate shortages or delays that may impact production goals
