GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- Develops, implements, and maintains the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System.
- Leads internal and external audits, coordinates action plans, and closes findings.
- Ensures compliance with applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental laws.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Industrial or environmental engineering, chemical biology, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience working in EHS.
- Proficiency in English.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Project development, research, leadership, and management skills.
- Knowledge of environmental, health and safety legislation.
- Experience handling procedures before government agencies.
- Internal auditor ISO 45001.
- 5 years of experience in HSE Management Systems.
- Statistical knowledge of lean tools.
- Ergonomics and safe handling of machinery and equipment.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team responsible for ensuring the implementation of various programs and activities related to health, safety, and the environment.




- Business partner in different areas and departments of the company.
- Generate and promote strategies aimed at improving indicators to provide a safe environment and reduce the environmental footprint.
- Maintain site and corporate metrics and report them according to the needs of meetings and departments.
- Verify compliance with and adherence to health, safety, and environmental programs.
- Assist inspectors and representatives from the government.
- Conduct, coordinate, and participate in internal and external audits and ensure completion of corrective actions.
- Collect, document, and maintain relevant information from department areas: risk management, waste management (air, soil, water, etc.), audits, corporate reports, etc.
- Generate risk assessment and management strategies.
- Provide training on Health, Safety, and the Environment, guide teams to ensure timely compliance, and promote learning.
