PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Quality Manager’s efforts to work with Yazaki Manufacturing in order to meet customer Quality and Engineering expectations
- Support the Quality Manager’s work to staff and develop the Quality organization to meet current and future business requirements including training and evaluation of personnel
- Support the Quality Manager in staffing, training, organizing and managing the department within budget and other guidelines set by Branch management
- Directly supervise Quality Engineers and manufacturing’s’ Quality Resident Engineers as applicable
- Manage quality tracking metrics and reporting for each customer
- Facilitate effective management of new model production preparation activities with Program Management
- Manage quality related documents for new model production preparation activities
- Develop staff to effectively communicate, including successful negotiation of customer or Yazaki manufacturing plant issues




- Create or improve systems and department structure to meet continually changing customer requirements
- Lead or support internal cross-function teams to improve the efficiency of internal systems and procedures
- Implement and support continuous improvement activities
- Register and resolve both internal and external quality claims
- Support long-range and short-term group forecasts, goals, objectives, and priorities
- Support other projects, tasks, and/or duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
Degree Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management or a related field or equivalent experience (preferable).
Certification Requirements:
N/A
Previous Experience:
Required: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Automotive or Manufacturing
Preferred: 3 years of experience in Automotive or Manufacturing
Travel Requirements:
Both domestic and international travel required between branches, customer and manufacturing sites
Language:
English – 80% at minimum.
