How do you add value to the role?
The Robotics and Vision Engineer designs, develops, and commissions robotic and machine vision systems for the manufacturing industry based on customer specifications and in accordance with engineering principles, international standards, and industry best practices. Integrates industrial and collaborative robots with modern control systems and automation equipment. Simulates system performance under various operating scenarios and develops process improvement solutions to enhance efficiency, reliability, and overall system performance.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related Science discipline.
- Languages: Advanced English.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years integrating industrial robotics applicacions.
- Experience developing moderately complex robotics applications.
- Demonstrated experience in robotic cell commissioning and production startup.
- Knowledge of electrical and machine safety standards for industrial machinery.
Knowledge
- Programming, commissioning, and servicing of FANUC and/or KUKA industrial robots.
- Troubleshooting of installed equipment and production line systems. -Integration of robots with PLCs and industrial communication networks such as EtherNet/IP and PROFINET.
- Reading and interpretation of electrical and pneumatic schematics, as well as automation sequences. -Integration of sensors, grippers, machine vision systems, and peripheral devices.
- Experience with 3D vision-guided bin picking. (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Keyence, Photoneo, Cognex, Pickit, Mech-Mind, or equivalent vision solutions. (Preferred)
