Job Description

Will be responsible for the overall safety, health, environment, quality, service, cost productivity, employee morale, and the proper maintenance, discipline, and follow‑up of the 5S’s in all assigned areas, as well as the attendance and active participation in Tier 2 and Tier 3 meetings. The Supervisor is responsible for managing overtime, efficiencies, scrap, ensuring proper shift startup, leading Kaizen initiatives, participating in LPA audits, and driving effective performance management of the area. The Supervisor must coach the Team Leader, ensuring escalated topics are resolved, and acts as the process leader who drives solutions.

Position Summary

The Production Supervisor serves as a liaison to management on manufacturing, quality, process and engineering related issues. Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, such as inspectors, assemblers, fabricators, machines, tool setters, test and other plant and system operators. A successful Supervisor can anticipate and adapt to change,



make the required adjustments to schedules, promote two‑way communication, foster organizational culture and values, assess operator performance, develop teams, and drive continuous improvement within the assigned work areas.

Responsibilities
- Capable of managing a new product line or participating in product transfer projects.
- Monitor production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and report on departmental performance to management.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as assembly, inspectors, machines and fabricators.
- Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
