The Empowerment Operations team is looking for a high‑performing intern to support key operational strategies impacting couriers and shoppers within the DiDi Shop grocery ecosystem in Spanish‑speaking Latin America.

Role Responsibilities
- Support the end‑to‑end operational strategy for couriers, including distribution and activation of prepaid cards and delivery supplies critical for grocery order fulfillment.
- Monitor and optimize logistics flows for shoppers and couriers across multiple cities and countries.
- Collaborate in the design and implementation of regional strategies to improve efficiency and reliability in last‑mile operations.
- Lead and support data coordination efforts to ensure accurate tracking of prepaid card status, inventory of supplies, and shopper coverage.
- Conduct benchmarking and best practice analysis related to courier and shopper operations.
- Generate data‑driven insights to improve execution speed, reduce inefficiencies, and scale operational capabilities.




- Participate in the design and rollout of new initiatives to empower field teams with the right tools, training, and support.
- Ensure swift execution with attention to detail, balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.

Role Qualifications
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Business, or related fields.
- Strong interest in technology.
- Analytical and structured with good problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
- Willing to learn and develop skillset; self‑motivated, proactive, can‑do mindset.
- High proficiency in Spanish and English is essential.
- Great knowledge of Microsoft Office tools—particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Programming language skills (Python, SQL, or R) are highly appreciated but not required.
- Availability to work at least 6 hours per day or 30 hours per week.
- Availability for at least 12 months of contract.
