Paystand is seeking a Business Operations Analyst, AI Enablement & Payments Strategy to help build and strengthen the operational intelligence layer behind our payments business. This role sits at the intersection of business operations, payments analytics, workflow automation, and AI-enabled tooling, helping improve how we monitor performance, generate insights, and support decision-making.

In this role, you will build dashboards, models, reporting systems, and analytical workflows that give leadership clearer visibility into payment performance, margin trends, vendor efficiency, operational risk, pricing dynamics, and opportunities to scale. Because this team supports both payments strategy and revenue operations, this role will help connect payment performance to broader business and commercial decisions, not just payment operations alone.

Key Responsibilities




- Build and maintain dashboards that track key payment and operating KPIs, including margin, success rates, vendor costs, latency, volume, routing performance, and exceptions.
- Analyze payment and operational data to identify performance issues, cost inefficiencies, vendor underperformance, and margin improvement opportunities.
- Develop reporting frameworks and models that help leadership understand payment economics, pricing implications, operational risk, and overall business performance.
- Partner with Data Engineering, Product, Finance, and Payments stakeholders to improve data quality, metric definitions, and reporting logic.
- Translate complex data into clear insights, recommendations, and executive-ready analysis for business reviews and decision‑making.
- Build repeatable workflows for monitoring performance, surfacing anomalies, summarizing trends, and improving how recurring analysis gets
