ALTEN Mexico as a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group. Currently working with international clients, and we are looking for an Electronic Design & Release Engineer who will be responsible for the technical assessment, redesign, and release of electronic components impacted by obsolescence. They ensure form‑fit‑function compatibility, review electronic schematics and PCB designs, manage BOM updates and PLM documentation, lead engineering change processes (ECN/ECR), collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, and ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, A‑SPICE, and AEC‑Q.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical evaluation, selection and qualification of replacement electronic components.
- Ensure form-fit-function compatibility, performing detailed electrical, mechanical and functional assessments.
- Review and support updates of electronic schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs and PLM documentation.
- Drive change management through PLM systems (Arena PLM, 3DX) including ECNs/ECRs.
- Collaborate with suppliers, purchasing, quality, validation and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Apply automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASIL, A-SPICE, AEC-Q100/Q200) throughout the release process.
- Support prototyping, bench evaluation and integration of new components.
