Job Title: Multifamily Portfolio Analyst
Reports To: Portfolio / Investment Management Team

Work Mode: Remote (supporting a U.S.-based real estate investment team during agreed U.S. business hours)
Position Objective: Support the financial monitoring of a multifamily real estate portfolio by gathering, organizing, and reviewing quarterly financial data from sponsors and properties, identifying missing information, anomalies, and material variances, and reporting findings to the internal team.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Monitoring: Contact investment sponsors to acquire quarterly financial statements; input data into standardized Excel reporting models; check for missing numbers or anomalies; analyze rental income, operating expenses, debt schedules, reserves, and property-level financial data; compare current performance against past periods or forecasts; flag material variances and follow up; maintain accurate financial records across assets.
Reporting & Analysis:



Perform variance and financial statement analysis; summarize discrepancies and findings for the team; support quarterly portfolio reporting; communicate clearly with internal team members and sponsors.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Experience: 2–5 years in accounting, financial analysis, real estate finance, asset management, or property accounting. Experience with multifamily properties is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of financial statements, GL reconciliation, and variance analysis.
Skills: Strong analytical and accounting skills, high attention to detail, ability to detect financial inconsistencies, strong written communication skills, professional English proficiency, and ability to manage recurring deadlines independently.
Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, experience with financial reporting models and formula auditing, and solid understanding of rental income, operating expen
