The Role
As a Linux Systems Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing Linux-based operating systems in enterprise production environments. In this role, you ensure system stability, performance, and availability while providing operational support aligned with defined service levels.

You will work hands-on with Linux servers, resolving incidents, performing system maintenance, and collaborating with cross‑functional infrastructure teams. Your work directly supports reliable service delivery,



operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across Kyndryl-managed environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE) in production environments.
- Install, configure, harden, and maintain Linux servers to ensure security, stability, and performance.
- Monitor systems proactively and resolve incidents within established SLAs through effective troubleshooting and log analysis.
- Perform operating system patching, updates, and basic automation to support availability and capacity management.
- Document operational procedures and collaborate closely with database, middleware, cloud, and storage teams.
