Direct Taxes & Compliance Lead
- Manage and oversee tax compliance processes for Mexico entities, including monthly and annual calculations of Income Tax, VAT, and other local taxes.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of federal and local tax payments on a monthly and annual basis.
- Prepare and coordinate statutory tax filings, including ISSIF and Statutory Tax Reports (SIPRED).
- Manage e-accounting compliance, ensuring monthly submissions and proper gathering and maintenance of supporting documentation required by tax authorities.
- Support the implementation of new tools and improvements in SAP, enhancing tax processes and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, proactively identifying potential risks and escalating them to leadership in a timely manner.
- Oversee product tax classification processes, ensuring correct VAT and withholding tax treatment and system updates when required.
- Manage VAT refund applications, tax benefits, and other tax-related incentives, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Perform monthly tax reporting activities,



including data submissions in COGNOS and other reporting tools.
- Ensure the implementation and adherence to internal controls and standard tax processes.
- Support product tax classification and actively participate in internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation and upload of controls into the RCM tool in accordance with assigned responsibilities.
- Support the tax and transfer pricing aspects of intercompany and cross-border transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of the Annual Transfer Pricing Study.
- Support in the preparation and file Local File and Master File documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Identify and assess potential tax risks arising from business operations and support mitigation strategies.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of electronic accounting, tax returns, and all other compliance obligations.
