To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Equipment Maintenance Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, the Equipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, transfer, and optimization of SMT and SCP manufacturing equipment. This role supports pilot and production operations by ensuring equipment reliability, maximizing uptime, and leading equipment‑related continuous improvement initiatives.
The position also provides technical leadership to maintenance technicians and supports new equipment installations, line transfers, and manufacturing startup activities.
Typical day looks like
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures involving mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software systems.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on SMT and SCP manufacturing equipment.
- Install, commission, validate, relocate, transfer, and debug production equipment and manufacturing lines.
- Provide hands‑on technical support for SMT and SCP production operations.
- Lead installation activities for SMT lines, Edge Bonding equipment, SCP equipment, and Reflow Ovens.
- Conduct equipment calibrations, qualifications, and re‑certifications per established schedules.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve uptime and reliability.
