and sales to understand the needs and desires of the customers and provide them with service levels that meet or exceed customer expectations.We're Hiring an Applications EngineerCORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. * Provide Applications Engineering support to channel partners, distributors and end users* Provide optimal design selections based on customer requirements.* Estimate project costing and negotiate lead times.* Collaborate with purchasing team and other stakeholders to obtain costing for components as required* Support maintenance of CRM funnel to ensure opportunity visibility by field sales team.* Develop technical depth and understanding of Xylem products and applications.* Conduct Project Engineering activities during submittal development and order fulfillment* Collaborate with other technical and engineering groups to provide the required customer solution.* Proactively anticipate and mitigate risk* Provide timely responses to inquiries.* Meet or exceed established SLA and
